Job Title: Ekahau Site Survey Engineer
General Requirements:
- Conduct wireless site surveys and assessments, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
- Design, test, and implement new Wi-Fi deployments and upgrades based on project requirements.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn Ekahau product set, AP on the Stick Survey (APoS), active/passive site surveys, and wireless infrastructure design principles.
- Experience with scissor and boom lifts, adhering to safety procedures during installations.
- Generate detailed reports and documentation related to site surveys and project deliverables.
- Work effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Stay updated with current and evolving wireless standards and industry best practices.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Ekahau Site Survey Pro and Cisco WLAN design guidelines.
- Previous experience conducting wireless site surveys in office and warehouse environments.
- General understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Familiarity with large distributed wireless network design.
- Knowledge of various wireless manufacturing products and their functionalities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Pay based on Ekahau experience.
- Flexibility and the ability to travel across the USA, sometimes at short notice, are essential for this role (travel expenses covered).
